The commissions I'm most proud of are the ones that commemorate special moments and special lives. With photographs as a reference, I work with graphite and high quality acid-free paper to make heirloom-quality portraits. I want the feeling of each portrait to convey timelessness, intimacy and love. Seeing these pieces after the client has them framed and hung them up in their home fills me with so much satisfaction.
