A series of acrylic paintings celebrating family and friends. My style has shifted and developed over the years, gradually transitioning from vibrant Fauvist colors to more natural tones with an expressive bent. I think having children was the biggest blessing to my growth as an artist-- suddenly the challenge of capturing a likeness was so wrapped up in something I loved so dearly. It became the drive I needed to learn more and more about developing my craft to keep up with my goals.
